About me

Introduction

My name is Partho Kunda, a software engineer with one year of industry experience.

Work

I am currently working as a software engineer in Chaldal (Y-Combinator backed grocery delivery startup in Bangladesh) in the Supply Chain and Operations team since July, 2024.

My work involved developing the state machine and invetory tracking system for Inventory Trading Platform (C#, F#), improving performance on our core backend (C#), maintaining production pipeline for two projects (Kubernetes, Azure), and some occasional frontend work (React, Typescript). Education

Since my high school days, I have been actively participating in math olympiads and found problem solving enjoyable. I discovered competitive programming when I got the opportunity to join a programming camp and decided to pursue software engineering as a career.

In June 2024, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), which in my opinion offers the best undergraduate CS program in Bangladesh. I graduated with a CGPA of 3.90/4.00 and placed in the top 20% of my batch.

Leisure

In my spare time I read a lot of books, mostly but not exclusively from fantasy genre. Feel free to add me on Goodreads . I like to travel to new places when I can manage some time off. I also avidly follow club football and am a huge supporter of Real Madrid.
